CATSUIT! The Slavendelian Mission (Epilogue 2)

The following morning agent River woke and got dressed. Unfortunately her service issue catsuit had been returned to the quartermasters department for analysis (the R&D department are constantly striving to make the garments more efficient), so she had to wear her own clothes. Like many agents, she had come to relish the sensations of catsuits, so had purchased several for her own use.

After breakfast she attended the dreaded Post Mission Analysis. Her she was interrogated in gruelling detail about her decisions and activities by a five members of CATSUIT's administrative wing, CORSET (Commission for Oversight, Research, Selection, Evaluation and Training). Their job was to find out what had gone right, what had gone wrong, and how things could be improved.

Technically, River's mission had been a failure as she had not completed her stated goals. In her defence the Slavendelian official she had been sent to contact was working for the enemy all along, so that was not her fault. Likewise her capture was the result of bad luck rather than any failure on her part.

The after effects of her capture caused much debate. Two of the inquisitors believed she should have escaped at the first opportunity, and that it was a foolish risk allowing herself to be taken to Kriegorn Castle. Whilst agreeing it was risky, two others maintained it had paid off, allowing CATSUIT access to the Slavendelian main computer and security networks. The fifth was undecided.

Eventually River was dismissed as they debated amongst themselves. She went to her rather spartan office and proceeded to record in exacting detail everything she could recall whilst in the country. As the first agent into Slavendel, and the only one to have had any significant interaction with it's society, her recollection would be invaluable in planning future missions.

As she talked she fingered the slave collar round her neck. She always kept a souvenir from her missions.
