Agent of CATSUIT! (36)

When planning a mission, CATSUIT will establish a number of safe houses for their agents to work from. But as a precaution, the organisation maintains special 'bolt-holes' around the world, for the benefit of agents who may find them selves in trouble.

 Through one of it's many front companies, Hourglass Industries, CATSUIT has permanently booked rooms in hotels in every major town and city. An agent merely has to identify herself as working for Hourglass to the receptionist and state that a room has been reserved for them. Instructions left at each hotel inform the receptionist to phone Hourglass headquarters when this happens, who will confirm the agent as working for them. This lets the receptionist know that the agent is entitled to use the room, and lets CATSUIT know where the agent is, allowing back-up to get there as soon as possible.

 In addition, a briefcase will be kept securely at each hotel for the agent to use. It contains a firearm, medical supplies, the equivalent of £1000 in local currency, assorted pieces of escape and evasion equipment, and a 'one size fits all' emergency catsuit. Though no where near as effective as the standard issue catsuit, it is better than regular clothing.

This image shows agent 'Slayer' taking advantage of one of these bolt-holes. Assigned on a mission to Istanbul, she was captured by enemy agents and transported by private plane to one of their headquarters. Escaping, she made her way to a nearby road and hitched a lift. Surprised to find herself in Australia, she headed for the nearest city, found one of the hotels, and offered some of the money from the case to the driver who'd brought her so far, as recompense. He refused to take it, saying the company of a beautiful woman was payment enough.

That sort of thing happens a lot to CATSUIT agents.
